Privacy Policy
Last updated 11 July 2026
This is a starting-point privacy policy for LaunchStride. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer — have it checked (and confirm it covers your actual data-protection obligations, e.g. GDPR/UK GDPR) before relying on it for real customers.
1. What we collect
- Account details: business name, email, and a hashed password (we never store your actual password).
- Business information you provide during the AI consultation, used to generate your site.
- The site content generated and every revision made through the live-edit loop.
- Payment records (amount, package, date) — your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Deployment details: the domain and repository created for your site.
2. Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run LaunchStride:
- Anthropic — processes your consultation transcript and edit instructions to generate site content.
- Stripe — processes payment. We only receive confirmation that payment succeeded, never your card details.
- Railway — hosts LaunchStride and your deployed site.
- GitHub — stores the source code repository created for your site.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone beyond what's needed to provide the service.
3. How long we keep it
We keep your account and site data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, contact us and we'll delete what we can, subject to what we're legally required to retain (e.g. payment records).
4. Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us via the email on your account.
5. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date at the top when we do.
